The role

We’re looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Team reporting to Bram Davids. Together with people in our Marketing teams you will work on improving our day to day business with a strong focus on our customers. You understand what kind of insights and predictions drive the right action. You have great analytical skills and are good at making people understand what needs to get done and why. You love data challenges and you dive into the details until you have all the answers you need to get the job done.

With the BI team we make Recharge data-driven by embedding actionable insights into the business teams and develop intelligence that automates our business processes. We are business owners of the data platform pushing the limits on Insights and Predictability by being the bridge between business and tech.

Job requirements

What will I do?

As a Business Analyst you will play a vital part in defining our consumer data strategy and roadmap by continuously enquiring and inspiring the teams on their data needs to make our organisation more data-driven. Based on transactional and behavioural datasets, you will help the company to find opportunities for growth.

On one hand you will achieve this by performing advanced strategic analyses and building predictive models that make our marketing activities more effective and intelligent. For example when doing a smart analysis on customer retention, or working on predictive models that drive the personalisation of our communication.

On the other hand you do this by building a self-service analytics environment in which the marketing teams are able to make the right decisions and run their own analysis. This includes, understanding the key data sources and translating this into structured SQL data models with our data platform team on one side, whilst on the other side working together with our marketing teams, understanding their needs and delivering the right Tableau Dashboards, Data sources and the right training so they are able to find their own insights.

Your new team

Your new team will consist of hungry young professionals that are ready to make an impact on the business. You are part of the Business Intelligence team that pushes our entire operation to become as data-driven and fact-based as possible. This includes other Business Analysts with a focus on:
-Business Development
-Payments & Fraud
-Performance Marketing, Customer Care and Brand and Content
-Category & Buying and Pricing 

What you have:

  • 1-3 years experience in an analytics or data-science related field (preferably within the e-commerce industry)

  • Experience building predictive models (Churn, Product Recommendation, etc.)

  • Experience with A/B testing/experimentation (Conversion Rate Optimization)

  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools (like Tableau and Power BI)

  • Great knowledge of SQL

  • Basic knowledge in Python

  • Conceptual modelling skills

  • Project management skills

  • Strong communicators who can connect at all levels in the business

The process
