The Role

To support this mission and build our corporate brand and storytelling we are looking for a creative Digital Content and Communications Lead to join our Brand & Comms team and lead our corporate digital content and communications efforts, reporting directly to our Director of Brand & Communications Ross Cumming and working closely with our CEO Günther Vogelpoel.


What will I do?

As our Digital Content & Communications Lead, you will;

  • Own and deliver our corporate brand communication strategy from earned media to partnerships and campaigns globally, to raise the profile of Recharge.com across the payments and fintech industry.

  • Lead in the development of our corporate brand storytelling and content to deliver a high-quality corporate brand experience that can be translated into multiple channels and mediums.

  • Manage all media relations and press office monitoring to promote, protect and grow the reputation of Recharge.com’s corporate profile globally.

  • Build smart solutions to scalably grow the team and comms function whilst managing our external resources.

  • Manage the day to day of our internal comms supporting our Chief of Staff and HR Team in ensuring our Rechargers can connect to our corporate ambition and mission.

  • Manage our corporate digital channels including web and social.

  • Collaborate closely with our CEO, Board and Director of Brand and Communications to pave a path towards IPO readiness through building a compelling brand reputation.

Job requirements

What do I have?

  • 5+ years of consumer PR, social or internal communications experience.

  • Strong written communication that can connect with audiences of all profiles

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • A keen eye for sharp content that can connect with audiences globally.

  • Be hands-on with your approach to problem-solving and challenges around comms and creative content to really “Make it Happen” in your daily work.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with experience working with/ in a digital scale-up, demonstrated by the ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Fully proficient in Adobe CS, video editing & Google Docs.
