The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Copywriter with a minimum of 4 years of experience and strong working background working within an international e-commerce business. This professional has a real strength of knowledge in working within a digital environment and aims to improve the Recharge.com ecosystem within our Creative Studio team, led by Bruno Cisco, our Creative Lead.

Job requirements

What will I do?

  • Craft an outstanding micro, short, and medium format copy that will champion the brand's perception among users across the world

  • Put into practice your strong skills in SEO and e-commerce, knowing the best way to translate brands' needs into text & creative solutions that drive conversion through our webshops and apps

  • Work closely with a team of Graphic and UX designers, being flexible to adapt your copy when needed

  • Hunt the last user's trends and references, and bring them to the table, collaborating with the whole Creative team to keep reshaping the prepaid payment world

  • Shape our brand voice across user journeys and flows whilst documenting and evolving these in our copy guidelines

  • Manage the day-to-day briefings, giving full visibility to your peers when needed, and acting as one as much as possible

  • Collaborate with Transcreation Agencies, Brand Copywriters, Web Developers, and beyond to ideate and execute world-class content

  • Give and receive feedback from peers through design critiques

  • Last but not least: be an enemy of "good enough" - always strive for the best

What do I have?

  • 4-6 years of commercial experience as a copywriter with specific experience in e-commerce digital marketing

  • Strong experience working in e-commerce environments, with a close connection with designers, developers, product owners, and translators

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your attention to detail, conversion-focused, problem-solving skills, and editorial eye

  • Creative and energetic team player and a passion for user-centered writing and design

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with experience working with/ in a digital scale-up, demonstrated by the ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment

  • Fully proficient in MS Office & Google Docs and an understanding of content management & prototyping tools. Knowledge of Jira is a plus

  • Fluent in English both verbally and written. Dutch, Spanish, or German is a plus
