Recharge is looking for a Business Analyst - Payment that will help us to achieve the best results in optimising the payment funnel, adding local payment methods, and making our customers happy.
In this role you will identify new trends, payment methods but also analyse the performance of our existing market. You will work in the Payments and Risk team as well as collaborate with the new markets, finance and tech teams. You will work with the Country Expansion team and Product Owners to define and execute the rollout plan for global expansion, and maintain commercial relationships with existing Payment Service Providers & Acquirers.
You will explore the payment landscape for our new and current markets, cards, e-wallets and other APM’s as well as benchmark, research and build business cases for improvement.
Knowledge of PSD2, PCI DSS and other developments in the payments industry, e.g. the New Payments Architecture and what it means for our future payment vision, and understanding alternative, non-card based Payment methods, such as digital wallets, direct bank integrations and mobile payment solutions, are plus points.

Your new team will consist of hungry young professionals that are ready to make an impact on the business. The team is divided into two parts, Fraud and Payments. The payment specialist reports to the Payments Lead, Valeria di Credico.

Ability to communicate complex (technical) concepts and ensure knowledge transfer to internal business teams and product-owners

Project and stakeholder management skills
Analytical thinker that can interpret and manipulate data
Experience with data visualisation tools (like Tableau and Power BI)

Ability to cope with a fast-paced and pressured workplace
Strong organisational and time management skills
An entrepreneurial spirit with experience working with/ in a digital scale-up, demonstrated by the ability to get things done in a rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of the ecommerce payment landscape is a plus
Understanding of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), PSD2 and other regulations in the payment industry is a plus
