The role

We’re looking for a talented Product Owner to join our Product Team reporting to Joey Germeraad. In this position you will be responsible for part of our customers journey. You will be the driving force of meeting the expectations of our users, solving their problems and making their experience as fast, safe and simple as possible.

Our company is transforming to a global marketplace where users can choose from a variety of products and services in a fast, safe and simple way. We are aiming to make a giant leap in improving the user experience of our platforms and for that we want to hire a product owner with an extensive track record in delivering new product features and someone with a critical mind when it comes to evaluation and prioritization of new initiatives.

Job requirements

What will I do?

As a Product Owner you are going to be the lead of creating a champions league ecommerce experience for our platform, and really like to make a high impact in the working experience and collaboration by keeping an open, direct and that makes us a bit better every day. You are consumer focused with good/smart commercial sense.

You are responsible and accountable for professionalizing the way we approach and improve the performance of our platform, setting clear goals around conversion optimization, site speed improvements and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you are exploring and building new customer features that make the user experience better and provide convenience, added value and trust to our returning customers. You will work together with the other Product Owners, Developers, UX Designers, and Data Scientists, where you are in the center of our users, our commercial business and our tech development. 

You will also identify user needs, align these needs with business goals and priorities and translate them into improvements, product developments and creation of new features, connect with your commercial counterparts to define the Key Performance Indicators of your domain and work together in order to improve them, and be able to prioritize your backlog based on customer value and commercial goals, whereby predictability of the outcome is high. You will develop/coach your team to a high quality level. 

Furthermore, you are a professional with strong commercial acumen who will connect easily with our business strategy and goals. Finally you act as the main point of contact for anything that concerns your product domain and the one who will look to solve any potential problems together with its own development team., and  align with multiple stakeholders, incorporating feedback early and often and appropriately.

Your new team

Your new team will consist of hungry young professionals that are ready to make an impact on the business including 2 Team Leads, and 3 Product Owners.

What you have:

  • Passion about always putting the user needs first.
  • 4-6 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience at a high volume ecommerce company.
  • Ability to communicate and manage different level of stakeholders
  • Acumen with commercial goals setting and data driven
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent discipline with problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience in managing properly a product development backlog
  • Speaking multiple languages next to English is a plus

The process
