The role
We are seeking a talented Payment Specialist to join our Payments and Fraud Team. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business growth, optimizing payment solutions for various markets and segments, and exploring new payment options to develop both existing and emerging markets.
What will I do?
Monitoring daily payment performance and improving market conversions
Constantly monitoring new trends, payment methods, and country coverage
Exploring payment landscapes for new/current markets (Cards, E-wallets, other APMs)
Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Product & Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Business teams, Risk & Fraud team)
Working closely with external partners (PSPs, Alternative Payment Methods, Card Schemes, Fraud Prevention Providers)
Conducting benchmarking, research, and creating business cases for new payment methods, PSPs, and acquirer banks
Stay informed on PSD2, PCI DSS, and other payment industry developments (e.g., New Payments Architecture)
Understand & Implement alternative, non-card based payment methods (digital wallets, direct bank integrations, mobile payment solutions).
Job requirements
What you have:
Ability to communicate complex and technical concepts and ensure knowledge transfer to internal business teams and product managers
Over 5 years of experience in ecommerce payment landscape
Understanding of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), PSD2 and other regulations in the payment industry
Previous experience analysing data using data visualisation tools like Tableau, PowerBI etc
Excellent Project and stakeholder management skills
Previous experience in integrating PSPs and payment methods in a merchant, and awareness of EU GDPR is also a plus.
