The Roleđź’ˇ
We’re looking for a talented Senior Pricing Analyst to join us reporting to our Director Business Intelligence & Revenue Management Bram Davids.
We need your help to define, experiment and execute a holistic revenue management strategy across our various labels and our full global assortment. Within this you will work closely together with stakeholders from our commercial teams (Category & Buying, Payment & Risk and CLM).
What will I do?🤔
Within Revenue management we are continuously optimising our pricing and revenue drivers to find the optimal balance between growth and profitability. As we expand our assortment and payment offering across the globe, scalability is key.Â
To get a sense of scale, we offer tens of thousands of products across 180 countries, offering a multitude of global and local payment methods, to thousands of customer segments across a growing number of local and global labels.
As our Senior Pricing Analyst we need your help to define a scalable strategy on how we can experiment, execute and continuously finetune our revenue drivers to achieve this optimal balance. This means you will collaborate with a wide set of stakeholders to:
Define Sales Price & Service Fee strategies with our Category Managers
Define Transaction Fee strategies together with our Payment & Risk Specialist
Define and executing an FX Markup strategies for cross currency payments
Define and implementing a discount strategies with our CLM & App Specialists
Optimise our customer journey and the way we present our revenue drivers to our customers together with our Front-End and UX teams
To be able to be successful at your job, we will also need you to:
Optimise and design our price management tooling with our Product & Tech teams
Ramp up our experimentation velocity by defining efficient process for launching, monitoring and assessing experiments at scale with our BI team
Iterate and extend our competitor scraping to understand our position in the market
What You Have💪🏻
A BSc in a business/economics focused subject
The ideal candidate has at least 4+ years experience in a highly analytical commercial role in the digital/e-commerce industry
Very strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills - identifying connections and trends in data and distilling them into insights and viable strategies for the business
Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI,..) to access and report data
Experience with competitor scraping
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and analytical reasoning
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills (both verbal and written); the ability to convey complex ideas and analysis clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
Innovative, creative and a strong commercial sense
Ability and preference to take ownership, entrepreneurial, proactive with positive attitude, a self-starter who can manage multiple initiatives/priorities at once
