The Role

We’re looking for a talented Medior SEO Specialist that has what it takes to shape the future of a rapidly growing, global high-traffic B2C e-commerce platform to join our Performance Team, reporting to Ronald Schepers.

As our Medior SEO specialist, you will elaborate and highly impact organic search strategies, fulfill agreed objectives and deliver against KPIs. Next to Recharge.com, our team also runs our local hero brands like beltegoed.nl, guthaben.de and recharge.fr to name a few. Targeting various users around the world in different languages, it has a massive scale and scope.

We are currently in a phase of executing a true Content strategy, automation and the right processes to scale faster while delivering outstanding performance. You are a team player at all times and together with the team you share knowledge and data to help everyone in this adventure!

This role is creative and technical, responsible for contributing heavily to strategic planning and execution on a campaign level plus.

Job requirements

What you have

  • 4+ Years of experience in running international SEO campaigns for B2C brands and demonstrable 'wins' in a target driven, fast-paced, B2C consumer environment

  • a Data-driven mindset with the ability to see things from a customer perspective

  • a Proven track record of the content and technical aspects of website optimization to develop marketing campaigns

  • Setting up a thorough competitor monitoring for onsite improvements

  • Prominent knowledge of industry software & tools, including Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics and Tableau

  • Highly competent in working with Google spreadsheets / presentations

  • A Love for change, that’s in our DNA. Being flexible to adapt to an ever changing company landscape

  • A confident manner with a positive pride and a good sense of humour

  • Attention to detail and a professional attitude

  • Contribute fresh ideas and take direction positively from senior members of staff

What will I do

  • Full responsibility from A-Z for some key platforms like Beltegoed.nl, Guthaben.de, Recharge.fr, Herladen.com and Mobiltetopup.co.uk

  • Creating technical SEO analysis of our platforms to facilitate the development of clear, actionable optimization roadmaps in collaboration with our Tech department

  • Hands-on technical audits to help identify how SEO should be optimized to perform better within the organic SERPs

  • Ensuring that audits, research and landscape investigations are properly utilized to deliver insight-driven strategies

  • Providing a data-driven level of reporting which includes detailed insights, actionable next steps and which tie-back to set KPIs

  • Attending key campaign meetings and positioning yourself as one of the team

  • Working closely with the CRO team to further optimize the conversion rate by making our platforms user friendly through A/B testing

  • Identifying strategic opportunities and facilitating change in order to expectations

  • Providing basic SEO training to internal teams (Copywriters & Tech)

  • Contribute to build automation and better reporting systems, review and design new optimization processes with the team

  • Help the team grow sharing your experience in areas you master – participate in educating various stakeholders on our activity
