The role

We’re looking for a talented & Ambitious SEO Team Lead to join our Performance team reporting to our Online marketing Director Paul Proisy.

We need your support and talent to shape the future of a rapidly growing, global high-traffic B2C e-commerce platform and execute the online search strategies. Next to, our SEO team also run our local heroes brands like, and Our app is growing fast you would also contribute to accelerate its use through ASO.

What will I do?

As a SEO Team Lead, you will lead all initiatives to improve our organic rankings and generate more sales across all our brands and markets. You will develop global and local strategies for our brands and categories - Call credit, Entertainment, Gaming and Prepaid money.

Having a data-driven mindset and strong commercial drive enables you to make plans, implement together with your team and iterate fast.

You are strategic, analytical and creative, results-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities. Using your social skills, you develop outstanding relationships with various stakeholders and external partners. You will contribute to grow Recharge as an SEO-centric organisation and manage all stakeholders to make progress on all fronts.

You will design the path forward for our on-site and off-site optimizations, take a strategic role in the development of our platforms placing SEO at the heart of our key initiatives and lead our content marketing strategy through our blog. You will elaborate the budget of your activity and deliver SEO high growth.

You have a clear understanding of how any content, social media and 3rd party platforms or publishers can influence signals to Google and you can elaborate a global or category strategy for Recharge.

Your team is your main asset to make an impact and it will be essential to contribute to each team member’s development and success.

You will be given full ownership of your area with a strong focus on mobile marketing, web and app. 

Growing our app is an essential pillar of our strategy in 2023 and your experience will help us reach our (high) ambitions.

What you have:

  • 10+ years of SEO experience, 4+ years experience leading SEO in complex environments

  • Being an SEO guru, you have a genuine passion about SEO and spread it across your team and your stakeholders

  • Experience in developing a world-class SEO setup and team - developing your team members to the next level of expertise and excellence

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Able to convey technical matters to non-technical people.

  • Working knowledge of industry standard SEO tools (Google Search Console, Tableau, Ahrefs etc...)

  • It is easy for you to make plans, roadmaps, and report on progress. Your communication is excellent and you know how to manage (high) expectations

  • You are curious and ambitious, you want to make an impact! essential assets to succeed in our complex and fast-paced environment

  • You understand search holistically and can elaborate synergies with SEA

  • Love for numbers, an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to any projects. You measure the impact of any initiative and iterate accordingly

  • You challenge the status quo, come up with new hypotheses, continuously make plans and tests

4.Assignment & Second interview: Some roles involve a case study. Great! It’s your chance to shine and show us you have what it takes. You’ll present your case study to the Hiring Manager and someone from the team

5. Third Interview: You’ll meet with a key member of the management team
